President and PM express gratitude on Parakram Diwas, remembering Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose

On January 23, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other prominent leaders led the nation in honoring the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, celebrated as Parakram Diwas (Day of Valour).

PM Modi's tribute

Prime Minister Modi extended greetings to the people of India on Parakram Diwas, emphasizing Netaji's dedication to the nation's freedom. In a tweet, Modi wrote, "Greetings to the people of India on Parakram Diwas. Today on his Jayanti, we honour the life and courage of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. His unwavering dedication to our nation's freedom continues to inspire."

President Droupadi Murmu acknowledged Netaji's extraordinary commitment to India's independence, praising his courage and charisma that inspired fearless resistance against colonial rule. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar remembered Netaji's birth anniversary as Parakram Diwas, highlighting his indomitable spirit and quoting the iconic words, "Give me blood and I shall give you freedom."

Yogi Adityanath's tribute

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also paid tribute to Netaji, calling him the great hero of the freedom struggle and leader of 'Azad Hind Fauj'. Adityanath expressed his humble tribute on the birth anniversary, recognizing Netaji's role on 'Valour Day'.
